Polefitness
Polefitness is a sport combining acrobatic exercises and choreographed dance moves on a vertical pole, most often made of chrome-plated metal, possibly copper or titanium. Everyone can find their own way with polesport as from strength to artistic performance, gymnastics, strength, coordination and flexibility are all great parts of this fitness discipline, just as much as passion, confidence and community are. Our classes are based on a pre-structured system of levels, so the skills, techniques and basic movements learnt at the initial levels will gradually allow you to accomplish more advanced elements and combinations that you might say at first glance are beyond your wildest dreams.
We recommend you to wear shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt or sports bra for the classes, as our skin surface provides the grip on the pole.
Aerial Hammock & Silk
Aerial silk (also known as tissue) is a form of aerial gymnastics that originates from the world of circus, with its seemingly effortless aerial exercises. In our classes, you can learn the graceful elements and acrobatic combinations on two different tools: hammock is a swing-like silk fixed on two suspending points, while silk is a fabric hanging down from the ceiling with two really long strands. Usually we suggest doing aerial hammock first to get the strength, coordination, technical basics and confidence you'll need to perform exercises on silk. Whichever tool you practice on, in this class you can strengthen and stretch every inch of your body simultaneously, while your coordination and sense of balance are constantly improving too.
We recommend you to have long, close-fitting, comfortable sportswear for the classes.
Aerial Hoop
Aerial hoop (or lyra) is a form of aerial gymnastics, during which various exercises and combinations of exercises are performed on an iron hoop attached to the ceiling and suspended through a strap. Linked to the circus world sport history, aerial hoop is a great way to develop endurance, coordination, flexibility and strength. Even the basic tricks are very impressive, and as the device itself is constantly improving your skills, you can progress surprisingly fast and over time you can master combinations and even acrobatic elements in the class that you wouldn’t even dream about now.
We recommend you to have long, close-fitting, comfortable sportswear for the classes.
Balance
In Balance training, we use a special hemispherical device to perform exercises that require constant balancing. Adapting to instability will engage the whole body simultaneously and uniquely develop deep and core muscles, joint stability and brain-nerve-muscle connections. It supports both the development of posture and the consciousness of our movements in everyday life and during other sport activities as well. But it is not only our posture and coordination that can be improved, the versatility of the tool also allows us to develop our stamina, strength, flexibility and even concentration skills. Balance training is an established training method in both rehabilitation and competitive sport environments, often used in medical therapies, injury prevention, and as a complementary class for runners and ball sport enthusiasts.
We recommend comfortable, flexible sportswear for our training.
Beside our pole, aerial and balance fitness classes, we also provide a variety of complementary classes to support your development. With your season pass you can also attend our sport-specific stretching and development classes as well.
